Athena A week passes. Things at the scrapyard lapse back into uneventful as per usual. Zetha might even forget about the strange, middle aged Chadra Fan who hadn't even given her his name.

Well, until he unexpectedly turns up again, his whiskers trembling slightly. His gaze darts around the scrapyard, as if trying to make sure there's no else to witness whatever is about to take place...
Zetha Rumir When things are slow is often when Zetha can be found up in her make-shift hammock. Patched together cargo nets of different shapes and sizes into something that she can fit into and get in and out of easily enough. Of all things, she's got a book in hand and the hammock swings gently back and forth as she turns a page likely lazing against some work or another that Wiis wants her to get done.
Athena "Hey!" The Chadra Fan calls to her, but he's not talking loud enough for Zetha to hear him from where she's lying in her hammock.

He grumbles, then shouts at her louder this time, "Hey! Hey isn't someone supposed to be working the scrapyard right now?!"
Zetha Rumir Zetha Rumir doesn't move the first time. Then she thinks she hears something when he shouts louder. So Zetha sighs and puts aside her book before rolling out of her hammock to land in a crouch on the ground. Looking around first at eye level, she then looks down and sees the Chadra Fan standing there. This is when she glares.

"Someone IS working the scrapyard right now. If you're looking for something to hotwire, you've come to the wrong place." Zetha has to wonder how agile and quick a middle aged Chadra Fan is. If this one tries to get past her, she might have to think quick.
Athena "What?!" The Chadra Fan seems weirdly anxious, for some reason. "why would I want to do that?" He fidgets. "Look, I'm not looking for anything today. I came here to ask for a favor," he says.

"Remember I came by last week looking for a power converter? Well, I need to you pretend that never happened. And that I never came here."
Zetha Rumir "I don't know... I just know that what you were looking for has been outdated for like...centuries." Zetha says this and then when he continues about how he wants her to pretend he never was here, an eyebrow shoots upwards.

Though she was about to argue, she figures that playing Sith's Advocate can be...fun? "What's in it for me if I do forget?"
Athena The small Chadra Fan hesitates, then hands her a palm sized bar of gray metal. She may or may not recognize it, if she's brushed up on her metals and ores recently.

"Again," the Chadra Fan says, "I was never here, I didn't buy that power converter, and I certainly didn't give you this." He then turns to leave.
Zetha Rumir "Sure thing..." Zetha pockets the metal. Something telling her that she might be getting too far, too deep into a mess that she's not equipped to handle. Little profit on the side never hurt anyone - who's going to know anyway.

Part of Zetha feels like she should ban the Chadra Fan from ever coming back. But that might be a little out of her pay grade. Besides, Wiis doesn't like to turn away what could be a profit. And Zetha feels like she needs more information before she can do anything beneficial one way or the other.
Athena Speaking of Wiis, the old Zabrak woman is shouting for her.

"Zetha! Zetha, where the hell are you?" A disgruntled groan. Had she fallen again?
Zetha Rumir "Out front!" Zetha calls back and then likely heads back towards Wiis' voice to see what the old crone needs this time.
Athena Her voice is coming from the kitchen near the back of her house in the back of the scrapyard.

If Zetha peers in the window she'll see that Wiis has indeed fallen, and is having a hard time getting back up...
Zetha Rumir Zetha Rumir frowns as she looks in the window and quickly makes it into the house and back to the kitchen. "Wiis..." Comes from her as she leans down to help the woman back up. Slowly and gently. "And you wonder why I don't let myself be whisked away by some wealthy space pirate..."
Athena "Oh shut up," she grumbles, taking Zetha's hand and getting up. "I would figured it out, sooner rather than later."

"What have you been up to all afternoon, anyway?"
Zetha Rumir "Cleaning. Sort of. Also reading. Because SOMEONE wants me to enlighten my mind..." Zetha points out before Wiis has a chance to be upset.

"Oh and being bribed by a Chadra Fan about being here getting that capacitor thingie last week. He gave me this..." She pulls out the gray bar and shows it to Wiis. "Don't worry. What's the worst he can do? I still plan on getting information about him..."
Athena Wiis snatches the bar, and after a moment of examining it, she mutters some curses in Zabraki to herself, eyes wide.

"I'm putting this away," she says, hobbling across the kitchen towards the safe in her bedroom. "And you better not get any funny ideas about taking it out, ever! Not even if some space pirates swoop in and demand for the most valuable thing we have here!"
Zetha Rumir "Wait. What is it?" Zetha asks as the bar is snatched and Wiis is hobbling away. "That's MY bribe fair and square!"
Athena "No!" Wiis shouts from her bedroom. "I'm doing this for your own good, Zetha. Don't argue it." She'll be able to hear the sound of the safe clicking shut.

"Now, get back out front. Lunch break is over. There's probably a crowd starting to gather." She makes a shooing motion at Zetha.
Zetha Rumir "If that could bring us a fortune and get this place spiffied up a lot then it's your loss..." Zetha laments and then turns and begins to walk away. "And I -was- out front... there was no one but that Chadra Fan!" Still yelling as she goes out to the front of the junkyard. Likely back into her hammock too.
Athena "Yeah, yeah, you go on and make a fuss," Wiis grumbles, waving a hand dismissively at her, "but you're not going to change my mind."

Unfortunately, Zetha won't really get to go back to relaxing. Wiis is right. There's a couple of colonists in the lobby out front - and they seem to be looking for something. Or, perhaps, someone.
Zetha Rumir Zetha Rumir seeing the colonists, Zetha tilts her head one way and then the other before walking over towards them. "Heylo! Welcome to the junkyard! Anything I can help point you towards or find in general?" Stupid Wiis and her being right all the time.
Athena "Oh," the Twi'lek girl with spectacles says, adjusting them uncomfortably, "Well, we were looking for one of our teammates. Chadra Fan, about yay high," she says, demonstrating with her left hand. "Middle-aged--"

Then her attention is suddenly diverted, towards the bushes. "--!"
Zetha Rumir "Sorry. No clue who you're talking about. I don't have any other teammates aside from my boss and she's too old to be outside any length of time." Zetha offers, and then her own gaze darts to the bushes. "Tho I may be calling an eradicator to take care of a pest problem..."
Athena "Ah," the other colonist says with a sigh. "Well, thanks, anyway," she says, "C'mon, Jac, dear. You're just being paranoid..."

"Oh, nooo," the bespectacled Twi'lek female says, "I don't think an eradictor will be able to do much...! I mean, you heard, right? There's a group of marauders here. They're masked and everything - very inscrutable, rarely seen. But I swear I've seen them spying on us a time or two!"
Zetha Rumir "If I do happen upon this Chadra Fan... who would I talk to about it? Just in case they come later rather than sooner." Zetha's going to play it cool. She wasn't lying when she said the Chadra Fan wasn't a teammate. So if there's a chance she could turn this around, maybe make it seem like she'll keep a closer eye out. She can tell someone later.

"Marauders eh? I hadn't heard. Hadn't been to the local cantina lately to catch up on the latest gossip. I'll keep all that in mind tho..." She adds that in for more good measure.
Athena "Me," the other colonist says, "My name is Harrah. I'm Lead engineer at the Tenoo colony. And this is my wife, Jacuru, Jac for sure. She's the architect. We're currently working on the comms center down there. Anyway, we should get going. We've got a lot of work to do today," she says, ushering the Jac out the door.

"Please be careful!" Jac shouts back at her, "I heard they're camped out in the Gorge. They've been there since even before the colonists came to Tenoo. I don't know why they haven't really done much other than spy, but it's unsettling. Like they're planning something huge, or something...!"
