Navi It's a cloudless afternoon in the beautiful city of Aldera. Towering, ornate buildings mix with elegant statues and fountains, and the wide streets are clean, orderly, and generally lovely. People mill about among the former and on the latter, going about their daily business.

The spaceport is little different, although there is a much larger proportion of starships of all kinds amongst the architecture. In the vast spaceport terminal, a certain blonde Sephi in a long, light-colored robe strolls along the concourse, looking through the row of vast transparisteel windows at the crowds, ships, and service vehicles beyond, idly wondering just why the Force called her here. "At least it's prettier than Canto Bight. But still kind of crowded."
Volken Mons A vast presence looms at an cafe in the concourse, biding his time and observing the foot traffic with a mildly disinterested expression.

He's gargantuan. Uncommonly so. Human from the looks of it but so imense he can't possibly simply 'be' human. His physique compares favorably to that of an adult Dowutin and even then would be larger then many of them. His arms, seemingly the size of a normal persons entire body or a pair of tree trunks, are adorned with vairous swirling tattoos while a grey shirt swells nad strains against the rise nad fall of his breathing and strains to contain his tremendosu chest. All in all he's a sort of seismic presence though he seems content to just watch the going ons.

That is until the Sephi begins to cross his vision and he swivels his gaze in her direction. His eyes are shaded by dark glasses and the hanging of strands of his long dark hair but he quirks a bearded jaw into a look of mild curiousity and surprise and then his deep rumbly voice calls out to her.

"Hey! Over here..."
Navi Navi pauses, blinking, at that call, looking around for a moment before she spies the speaker. "Oh! Hello again!" she calls back, jogging over to join the towering man. "I hadn't expected to see you again so soon."
Volken Mons "So you recognize me. I guess my voice is size is fairly distinct.. When I saw you before I thought i was pretty much garbed up allt he time. You know we're not really supposed to remove our helmets although....only the most extreme adherents really keep to that. Still, you remember me. Good."

Volken considers her with a slow grin. Without his helmet on his expressions are, obviously, quite apparent as he speaks. There's very much something shark like about his grin though he doesn't seem to have any intended malice towards her.

"So soon?" he then adds, "Hmm...maybe. I guess. I saw you on..Jedha, right? During that mess at The Vault?"
Navi "That's very possible. I was there, and I was rather in the middle of the mess, as were some dear friends of mine. I'm just glad that not too many people were hurt. It could have been so much worse," Navi says, blushing faintly. "Please forgive my ignorance regarding your people. I don't think I could keep a helmet on that long, either, to be honest. And yes, you are pretty distinctive, even without the armor. But it was definitely the voice that clued me in."
Volken Mons "I like being distinct...except when I don't. Usually when I need to -not- be seen...but since that's difficult I make it a point to make the most of being seen."

Volken lifts a hand up and gestres to get the attention of the droid server, "Here. Order what you want." he offers and then decides to return to the topic of Jedha by saying, "I know. I was there. I was curious about the Vault and all the folk wanting in. I got caught up in that melee. I guess I wasns't-so- distinct that you noticed me but I saw you keep that Devaronian from falling on that sorcerer boy. Cayde is it? I tied him up but I guess I didnt hit him hard enough beforehand..."
Navi "Mostly I remember wondering if I'd found where eclipses come from. No offense meant... my brain is a silly creature under stress," Navi admits, blushing a bit more. "Cayde, yes. A good friend, but definitely a wild card at times. I was just glad I was there to help him at all."

The invitation to order something is met with a surprised look, and then a grateful one. "Thank you so kindly. Can you recommend anything?"
Ellari Zin     There is a ship here that Volken may find familiar. It's the Veracity's Blade, and while he may not know its name, it certainly resembles the one he'd seen Ellari and Caine take off in back on Coruscant.

Sure enough, Ellari Zin is here, having taken Baron Von'egel and Revara Solstice to a local clinic to have their wounds seen to while Khalo Fett most likely has returned to Sundari to search for them. They'd eventually have to go back there...but hopefully if they wait long enough, Fett would have a harder time finding them once they did, and they'd be able to make their way to the Bastille of Thyssel without any further trouble.

Since she'd be waiting a while, Ellari had seen to some maintenance and minor repairs to Caine's ship as well. She waits in this same cafe, while this is being done. Volken's presence is...easily noted, as huge as he is, which brings about a scoff from her.
Volken Mons "Hmmm...." Volken considers the menu options and then shakes his head, "This isn't exactly high cuisine, you know? Just pick something at random. The food here is a little...basic...for my tastes but then again I pretty much know how to eat anything I get my hands on if I have to. Survival and all that...." he grins abit and then does a slight glance over the area.

If he recognized the ship he doesn't seem particularly on edge or nervous. Could just be a good game face as well. He's no fool after all.

If he notes Ellari's presence among the crowd..he gives no indication of that either and instead keeps his attention resting on Navi.

"As to Cayde, if you ask me his Sorcerer Leaders need to probably reign that boy in. I know that an constantly errant foundling would get more then a simple 'talking to' back on Mandalore...but...whatever. I've no ill will against him."

There's a pause and then he adds with a slight grina gain, "I wish I had of had a chance to get a better look inside the vault though. To bad. What was that all about anyway?"
Navi "Cayde means well. But he's very powerful in the Force, and he's still learning how to control it," Navi observes, defending her friend a little. "I'm hopeful we won't see a repeat of what happened in the temple." The question about the cause of the trouble is met with a thoughtful look. Or maybe she's just studying the menu. "It's very complicated. The short version is that some criminals got hold of some plans for the temple for a specific job and decided to make a profit off of it by selling the plans to whoever could pay for them. Turned out that was quite a few criminals, and they decided to attack the vault and steal whatever they could carry away. They failed, thank the Force. It could've been so much worse."
Volken Mons "You're the second person that mentioned that to me about that boy. I get it. I left alot of broken bones in my wake before I learned how to control my strength better but that's just it... I had to deal with that and people had to deal with me and nobody made excuses for me so don't' make excuses for him." advises Volken. "Help him but if there aren't consequences then ..folk don't learn..."

Perhaps odd coming from him if you know his history but then again, he's never shied away from facing the results of any deeds he's done, head. Usually....

"But enough about him then. Not my problem until he gets in my head again uninvited. I had heard about the plans to break in but I guess I didn't expect so many to give it a shot. Are you sure nothing was taken?"

His eyes drift past Navi as he speaks and settle on Ellari Zin and a slow smile begins creaking across his face.

"Hmm...looks like I got a fan." he adds to Navi, "Let's head over there and keep talking. I get folk wantin' a closer look at these biceps of mine from time to time.."
Ellari Zin     Ellari rolls her eyes when Volken starts cracking a smile at her. What was that supposed to mean? She turns away, folding her arms. If he really wanted something, then she supposes she'll hear about it soon...
Navi "It's more an explanation than an excuse, but I'll try. Helping him with his control has to be a Master's job, because it's far beyond my abilities, even if I were a Jedi," Navi adds softly. "I think all but a few of the thieves were caught. If anything was actually stolen, I have no idea what it was. Please, lead on," she continues, rising to approach Ellari when Volken does.
Volken Mons "Well I just figured...you said earlier you didn't know much about my people so ..why not give you a first hand experience..."

Volken's voice is languid, bemused, but there's an undercurrent of menace in it as he rises slowly and then reaches down and grasps hold of the hand hold of the huge case he'd been lugging it around. Practically the size of a person. He hauls it up with easy, holding it with one arm as he turns and begins approaching Ellari Zin with his eyes widening a touch and his grin becoming more and more shark like as he approaches her.

As his massive shadow rolls over her table, his expression becomes more and more shadowed though he still maintains that grin and when he's finally looming overhead:

"Su cuy'gar!"
Ellari Zin     Ellari turns back around as Volken's shadow looms over her table. A hand instinctively goes to her belt, where her pistols are holsters. He wants some kind of revenge, doesn't he?

"And you're not in jail on Coruscant." she replies in a casual tone that seems to bely the remark itself.
Navi "Oh, hello Miss. Are you a friend or fan of Mr. Volken?" Navi asks good-naturedly. It's only when they are right beside her table that the Sephi gets a good look at Ellari. "Oh... forgive my poor manners, but you're very pretty, Miss. I'm honored to meet you," she adds, blushing noticeably.
Volken Mons The behemoth Mandalorian looks on Ellari with that big full toothed grin and he says nothing, merely listening to her and then to Navi as she speaks. At Navi's mention of Ellari's looks...Volken's eyes seem to light up a touch more as he studies the other Mandalorian and then he then he turns to Navi and gestures to indicate the sitting woman, "This is Ellari Zin of House Vizsla. She thinks I'm here to break her in half like a toothpick. I very much intend to do so one day but not here. I'm 'civilized'."

He then looks back to Ellari, "Did you forget, ad'ika ? I brokered a release from the Coruscant prison t'bring Revara for Khalo Fett or your 'master' to collect. Then you all ran off, continuing your feud while I went about my business. Speakin' of..."

He glances around slightly, "I suppose youg ot them stashed somewhere on this planet don't you..?"

He pauses and then asides to Navi, "Mandalorian's like to tell each other how much they like each other by how mean they are to each other....."
Ellari Zin     Ellari scoffs, standing up now. "Oh, yes how 'civilized' of you, to refrain from attempting to snap me in half in front of your new little friend." she sneers, glancing at Navi but ignoring the compliment about her looks. "You very well know it could cost you your -life-. And your reputation, if you even have one to begin with."

She smirks at the mention of Revara's whereabouts. "If I did, why would I tell -you-? So that you can go find her and become her knight in shining armor?"
Navi Navi begins to get the idea that this conversation isn't as friendly as she's been led to believe. "Maybe I should let you two talk..." she says softly. "I'll be over here if you need me." With that, she moves to withdraw from the conversation. Hopefully safely. "It was nice to meet you, Miss!"
