Toughness determines how many hits one can take, either due to armor or natural defenses.

Benchmarks

  • 1 - 10: Average toughness, take a few punches
  • 11 - 20: Moderate toughness, able to take some heavy hits
  • 21 - 30: Advanced toughness, able to take multiple heavy hits
  • 31+: Supernatural toughness, beyond that of a normal member of character's species at peak of health and fitness

Modifiers
