Description
Neimoidians are a humanoid species from the planet Neimoidia, known for their smooth, noseless faces, mottled green-gray skin, and large red-orange eyes. They are genetically related to the Duros. The Neimoidian society is hierarchical, with a focus on wealth and status, and they are known for their skill in calculation and risk assessment. Their early life is marked by fierce competition for food during their larval stage, which shapes their affinity for trade and organization. Neimoidians often rely on droids for manual tasks and are associated with corruption.
Their history began when the Duros colonized Neimoidia, leading to physical and cultural distinctions between the two species. Neimoidians expanded to colonize other worlds, creating the Purse Worlds, and became a founding member of the Trade Federation.
Neimoidians are known for being greedy, crafty and cowardly. Detesting combat, their first instinct is to bargain for their life before pleading for it.
