Toughness determines how many hits one can take, either due to armor or natural defenses.
Benchmarks
- 1 - 10: Average toughness, take a few punches
- 11 - 20: Moderate toughness, able to take some heavy hits
- 21 - 30: Advanced toughness, able to take multiple heavy hits
- 31+: Supernatural toughness, beyond that of a normal member of character's species at peak of health and fitness
Modifiers
- +5 or more to difficulty if environment is hazardous
