Description
The Quarren, often derogatorily referred to as "Squid Heads," are a squid-like humanoid species from the aquatic world of Mon Cala, where they share their habitat with the Mon Calamari. They possess four facial tentacles, vibrant skin colors, gill-like hearing organs on their faces, and are most comfortable underwater. Quarren are capable of spitting clouds of black ink for defense, and they can also release ink when cut open. They are known for their preference for immersion in liquid, and their skin and nasal passages require humidity to thrive.
They are also known to squirt ink out of their facial appendages when overly stressed or anxious.

Amphibious
They are able to breathe both air and water, and can withstand extreme pressures found in ocean depths. They also gain a +3 bonus to Swim, and do not suffer penalties for performing actions underwater.
Low-light Vision
They can see twice as far as humans in poor lighting conditions and underwater, giving them a +2 bonus to Awareness rolls.
