Sanzo Laa - Aide to Chancellor Rie. He is a notorious gossip, especially while drinking and smoking. Recently got a minor concussion when a mysterious vessel attempted vehicular manslaughter.

Chancellor Rie - Chancellor to the Republic. Had an unfortunate incident at the economic summit, when Cayde attempted to convince him that Vlaven strongly disliked him, resulting in the Council giving Cayde a daytime curfew. Senator Burkenn is his cousin, and Gianka his favorite second cousin.

Emissarius Vlaven - Vice Treasurer to the Republic, significant other to Gianka. Has exhibited verbal aggression against the Order, especially against Cayde and Pike in particular. He was also seen lingering in off limit areas around the Temple during the Jedi Temple Tours, and many suspect him for embezzlement, and having sabotaged the Serenity Gala by drugging Heydan Seegil, who was a musician contracted to play music at the event.

Senator Burkenn - Senator to Nakadia, stepfather to Gianka, and cousin to the Chancellor. He seems honest, although like his stepdaughter, is adamantly against usage of spice in every form. His droid was seen driving the vessel that attempted the vehicular manslaughter of Sanzo Laa.
