Astrogation

Astrogation is skill in outer space navigation. Someone who is an expert in astrogations knows the stars and their systems well, and may even have hyperlanes committed to memory.

Benchmarks

• 1 - 10: Navigate common hyperlanes through well-traveled areas of space
• 11 - 20: Navigate moderately obscure hyperlanes through less well known areas of space
• 21 - 30: Navigate highly obscure hyperlanes through unknown regions of space, chart new hyperlanes

Modifiers

• +10 to the difficulty if the region is question has environmental obstacles that may hamper ship sensors or navigation systems (at GM’s discretion)
• +10 to the difficulty if navigation or sensor systems are damaged (at GM’s discretion)
