Force Insight

The Jedi may call on the Force to show them possible future outcomes of immediate choices, and predict how events may unfold. However, as the future in always in motion and any number of events or actions may alter how it unfolds, any visions of the future are not guaranteed to be accurate. There is also the possibility of error or misinterpretation on the part of the Jedi. This power also allows for the revelation of objective truths about a given situation, at the discretion of the GM.

Benchmarks

• 1-10: Failed attempt; no effect
• 11-15: Vague revelations about potential consequences of choices or objective truths pertaining to the targeted situation, consisting only of emotions and sensory impressions.
• 16-23: A few key details about potential consequences of choices or objective truths pertaining to the targeted situation are revealed, among mostly vague emotions and sensory impressions.
• 24+: Discover multiple different potential futures or objective truths pertaining to the targeted situation with clarity.

Modifiers

• +5 to the character’s roll if focused on an individual who has a friendly relationship with the user
• +10 to the character’s roll if focused on an individual who has an intimate relationship with the user
• +5 to difficulty if focused on an individual who has a poor relationship with the user
• +10 to difficulty if focused on an individual who has a hated relationship with the user
