Date of Scene: | 12 February 2025 |
Location: | Tenoo - Outer Rim |
Synopsis: | Amarik warns Navi about some troublesome people. |
Cast of Characters: | Cayde Alexis, Navi, 195 |
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
A few days before the Jedi and crew left for Ilum, some of the colonists had been invited to Kublop Springs for their first meal made from local food, curtesy of the generous citizens of the small but successful town.
So a group from the new colony is heading into one of the multipurpose rooms in the community center, that has been turned into a banquet hall of sorts for the occasion. The meal does smell good, and it seems there are plenty of options, although much of it may seem unfamiliar to those who haven't been to the Outer Rim before. But, this was something they would need to get used to eventually, anyway...
- Navi has posed:
Navi somewhat reluctantly files into the multipurpose room with her fellow colonists. The aroma of the waiting banquet is pleasant enough, but too alien to make her feel any less like she's much too far from everything familiar to her. "I hope it tastes as good as it smells," she observes softly, without any real enthusiasm.
- Amarik (195) has posed:
And when they arrive, they'll find Kublop bustling - this afternoon there'd been several traders and other offworlders in Kublop looking to do business today, so the harbor is packed.
Lingering outside the community center not too far from the town square are some familiar faces - the Twi'lek who'd come to greet the colonists that first time, the Shani woman, and a pretty Cathar girl with sapphire eyes and jet black hair. They make eyes at Navi and Cayde as they enter the banquet hall.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
As they are making their way inside, Cayde notices the group from earlier watching him and frowns, looking away quickly and hurrying inside.
He doesn't see any familiar dishes, but he simply starts putting random things onto his plate since that's what everyone else appears to be doing...
- Navi has posed:
Navi feels a chill run down her spine as she notices the Shani woman. The Twi'lek and the Cathar girl aren't so threatening, at least, but she doesn't stop to chat, even if she does manage a casual wave, hoping no one notices her trembling fingers.
She follows Cayde's example and claims a plate, taking a few small portions of random dishes. "Better keep stomach meds on hand, just in case," she advises Cayde softly. "I'll probably go by the medical center and get a few spare packs of them after we're done here."
- Amarik (195) has posed:
A friendly looking Latero is waving them over. "You guys really ought to try the mossberry biscuits!" he says enthusiastically, "absolutely delectable! And the Tenooan fish dumplings. Unforgettable, naturally," he says.
He then gestures emphatically at a plate full of colorful looking pastries. Well they look delectable enough. However, after taking a few morsels to eat, they'll find that seating indoors is scarce. However, it's a beautiful day outside - very sunny, and not too hot. Yet, anyway...
There's a lovely fountain outside next to some shaded wooden tables that look like they might be favorable to sit upon, unfortunately, they're a little too close for comfort to the Shani woman and her crew.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Cayde nods at Navi's mention of medical supplies. <That is...probably wise.> he projects to her. He picks up a couple of the dishes recommended by the Latero man. Finding little seating inside, he heads outside and glances over at the nice little tables by the fountain, although there is some hesitation. He still has a bad feeling about that crew...
- Navi has posed:
"Were you the one responsible for this feast?" Navi asks the Latero, to answer a niggling suspicion that had sprung to mind at his high praise of the fare before them. "I'm not really partial to fish, but I'll try them," she adds softly, taking up a little of each of his recommendations.
Finding her plate full now, she follows Cayde out toward the fountain. And closer than she ever wants to be again to the Shani woman and her two friends. "Stay clear of that one," she warns him, in a low voice, darting her eyes toward the Shani woman. "She's trouble, and nothing but."
Inwardly, she wishes she'd gone along with her gut feeling and stayed back at the other colony...
- Amarik (195) has posed:
"Hardly!" the Latero man says. "Just the Mossberry biscuits..." he chuckles nervously. "Do let me know if you like them... I've got plenty more down at the bakery....!"
The Shani woman and her crew watch Cayde and Navi, but say nothing to them and don't approach thankfully. And then they might immediately be sidetracked when a stumpy Dug who went by Wensicio Drell waves at them and calls out loudly. "Game of Sabacc! Handsome pot for the winner!! Come on, we need a couple more players..."
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Cayde nods in agreement about the Shani woman. <You are very right> he answers, and starts heading over toward another table some distance away. Not in the shade or by a nice fountain, but it should be plenty comfortable.
He glances up when Drell starts shouting about sabacc, but doesn't seem interested. After all, it is hard to make for a fair game, when you can so easily see into others' thoughts...
- Navi has posed:
"Um, I'll remember that. Thank you," Navi replies softly to the Latero as she exits with Cayde. 'At least he loves his work, but he sure seems like a shill to me...' she thinks.
Just as she's breathing a sigh of relief that the Shani and her crew don't seem interested in coming over to chat, the Dug starts calling for players for a Sabacc game. "Is he /serious/? We're flat-broke colonists," she observes softly to Cayde. "We wouldn't even be here if we had any money! What are we going to bet, mossberry biscuits?"
Sighing softly, she rises, plate still in hand. "Maybe I'd better check on this. Anne would want to know if it was on the level. Wouldn't be the first time I lost my shirt... though upon further reflection, it /would/ be the first time I lost it at cards..."
- Amarik (195) has posed:
"Come on, come on!! You don't have to even contribute anything to the pot, if you don't want," the Dug needles, "We've Dresda, Addapar, and Villin, all going in double with me." He chuckles. "Be a good sport, c'mon..."
But before Cayde and Navi can make any kind of decision, the Shani woman and her crew come over. "We'd like to play," she hisses, "is that alright?"
Wensicio looks up. "Huh? Oh, sure, yeah. That'd be good." Then he makes space for them at the table.
Even if they didn't play, perhaps it would be prudent to watch... and make sure nothing goes sideways.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Huh.
When the Shani woman and her friends announce their intentions to play, Cayde seems to change his mind about sitting far away and instead takes the nearer table by the fountain. He sets his plate down and sits down, but his mind is focused on trying to dig deeper than last time. They were up to no good, but what exactly was their real purpose for being here?
- Navi has posed:
Navi watches the trio enter the game and sighs wearily. "Great... now we /have to/ get closer to them. Something's definitely up with those three, and Anne would want to know about any shenanigans," she says softly to Cayde, slowly shaking her head. "So long, good sense, it's been great knowing you."
She joins Cayde at his new table and makes sure to take a seat where she can clearly see the game table. "Let me know if you see anything fishy. Besides the dumplings, I mean," she advises Cayde in a low voice, before sampling the Tenooan fish dumplings. She instantly finds the texture offending, and has to force herself to swallow the mouthful. "Guess those are an acquired taste..."
- Amarik (195) has posed:
Cayde won't really find anything concrete. They were here to spy on Wenisicio and Dresda, but why, Cayde won't really be able to discern. For the moment, they don't seem to have any specific agenda -- other than to play sabacc, and see how much they can get Wensicio to bet. The Cathar girl also seems to find Cayde interesting at the very least, perhaps even a little more than just interesting. But he won't really need the Force to discern that, she's been watching him this whole time.
They begin the game, and both of them probably will notice that Wenisicio is holding nothing back when betting at the end of each round.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
No no, not only what they were here for right now, but what were they here on Tenoo for? Cayde tries to dig deeper, while the plate of food starts to get cold sitting in front of him on the table.
He doesn't respond to Navi's comments, but she'll probably notice he has that odd vacant look on his face again.
- Navi has posed:
Navi notices, all right. She also knows better than to interrupt Cayde while he's tip-toe-ing through peoples' thoughts.
If she has to, she can ream him later. For now she silently continues her meal, eyes glued to the game. A faint smirk touches her lips as she realizes just how much attention the Cathar cutie is paying to Cayde.
- Amarik (195) has posed:
It's not exactly clear what they want. They anticipated that at some point, there'd be an opportunity to take advantage of something bad that would inevitably happen. But when it was going to happen, or what that bad thing was, or how they planned to take advantage is all just a grey, confusing mass. The Shani woman and her crew don't even seem to know or have much detail about everything themselves.
The Cathar girl also seems to notice Cayde staring into the void, and scowls. "Hey!" she shouts to Navi. "What the hell is wrong with the blond? Is he scheming to ruin our game or something? He's been staring at us with that creepy look on his face for the past fifteen minutes!"
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
But...why do they think something bad is going to happen? Did they plan to have a hand in it? Cayde frowns, trying to focus harder even as the Cathar girl starts shouting. He doesn't even seem to have heard her at all.
- Navi has posed:
Navi scowls faintly at the Cathat's shout. "I just happen to be blonde, too," she calls back, a bit testily, "so you might want to be a bit more specific when you're yowling."
She gives that a second to sink in, then adds, "Secondly, your game doesn't seem to be suffering from his looking at you, no matter what expression he's wearing. So maybe you should just play?"
- Amarik (195) has posed:
Cayde will be able to deduce that they actually don't know if they'll have a hand in it or not. They also don't know what exactly will be the cause of the bad thing either. Xera's in their subconscious, but indirectly, and they don't seem particularly concerned with her or harming her for the foreseeable future.
And then his concentration may break when the Cathar gets up, comes over, and splashes him in the face with cold water from the fountain. She regards Navi with a sultry look. "Now is it obvious which blond I'm talking about?"
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
So it had something to do with Xera Graf, noted. He was trying to dig deeper, to see if he could at least find out if they had any ideas on what this 'bad thing' they thought might happen would be when he suddenly gets cold water splashed in his face. He blinks the water out of his eyes and turns around, feeling somewhat indignant. Why did people always have to interrupt him?
He looks up at the Cathar girl, waiting for her to say whatever it was she wanted to say to him. Or ask whatever it was she wanted.
- Navi has posed:
Navi's scowl deepens, but she manages to raise her voice only slightly. "It's obvious that you've got poor impulse control and worse social awareness," she retorts. "But you've just managed to ruin your part in the game without any help from him, so I suppose you've accomplished something today. So go pat yourself on the back."
- Amarik (195) has posed:
She doesn't say anything to Cayde right away, but he'll find it rather impossible to avoid looking down her shirt and her exposed cleavage as she's leaning over a little to peer at him. "Stop staring," she says, "didn't you ever learn it was impolite?" Then she flicks his chin coquettishly and pivots on her heel, hips swinging sensually as she walks away. She spares Navi an eye roll, but doesn't comment as she leaves to go back to the game of sabacc.
Then Navi and Cayde might notice that the Shani woman and her crew look up very briefly when a familiar Tholothian man enters the courtyard. A keen telepath might even deduce that they worked for him, even if the arrangement is temporary.
His brows are furrowed neatly upon arrival, but when he sees Navi, his expression eases.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Cayde flushes and quickly turns away, forcefully not watching her swaying hips. But his attention is quickly diverted when the Tholothian shows up...the one he'd seen at the Temple of Kyber last year. Yeah, he's definitely just as suspicious as his companions. Apparently they work for him, actually. Immediately, he tries entering that one's mind, to see if he knows more about this 'unfortunate event' than his goons.
- Navi has posed:
Navi shakes her head slowly at the Cathar's eyeroll. "I've heard of being catty, but that's just taking it to pointless extremes," she murmurs. "If she's /that/ into you, she could've just said so. Cute is definitely only skin-deep."
And then, suddenly, another presence rears up in her mind, and she looks around warily, just in time to see Amarik enter what passes for the town square. Going by his easing of expression, he's happier to see her than she is to see him. "Trouble," she murmurs to Cayde, nudging his shoulder and darting her eyes at the Tholothian.
- Amarik (195) has posed:
He doesn't know anymore than the others do, Cayde will discover, but he does seem to feel more strongly in a negative fashion regarding Xera.
Navi will find Amarik's presence envelope her in that familiar way that was distinctive of their bond in the Force. He doesn't mean any harm, in fact, he seems both relieved and concerned for her well being. Relieved that the Shani woman doesn't seem to be causing Navi any trouble, but concerned that they were occupying the same space. However, when it becomes apparent that she isn't entirely pleased to see him, he casts one more brief look at Navi and then at the Shani woman and her crew, and turns to leave, the tiniest shockwave of disappointment projecting from his conscience and down Navi's spine.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Well, he wouldn't be the only who felt rather negatively about Xera...
As Amarik walks away, Cayde also felt that twinge of disappointment. So it would seem Vons isn't the only one interested in Navi.
But he shrugs and sighs, picking at the plate of food he still hasn't touched. He samples one of the 'Mossberry biscuits' as they seemed to look the most normal, at least compared to the bread wafers they often had at the Temple refectory.
- Navi has posed:
Navi watches Amarik turn to leave, unable to force down a sharp pang of guilt as she feels his disappointment. It's probably not his fault that trouble follows him everywhere. Well, in this case he happens to be /leading/ the trouble, but...
Slowly she realizes that there really is no 'but' here. Amarik may not be the architect of whatever 'something bad' that will happen to this colony sooner or later will be, but the fact that he and his crew are here to profit from it doesn't sit well with her. But she owes him, and they share that peculiar bond. So she's kept quiet about their presence and his intentions, against her better judgement.
Who says blondes have more fun? Not Navi.
She returns her attention to the game for now, still watching for potential trouble. The Dug seems to bet with an abandon usually reserved for throwing confetti at Life Day celebrations, and three potential thugs are holding down chairs at his gaming table. Something bad is bound to happen...
- Amarik (195) has posed:
Cayde will find that the Mossberry biscuits are quite delicious. But whether it will sit well in his stomach or not, remains to be seen.
The Tholothian man disappears from view, but Navi still be able to sense his presence nearby, watching the Shani woman and her crew continue their game of sabacc with the Dug. It ends poorly for Wenisicio, but it appears the Dug has, in fact, betted more credits than he actually has.
The Shani woman stands and hisses at Wenisicio. "Pay up," she growls, raking a sharp nail under his chin.
"I- I- I don't have the credits right now! N-next week, I promise!"
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
The biscuit is very sweet. He didn't get to eat many sweets at the Temple. It reminds him of the times he and Kuv used to sneak out and get samples from a local candy shop in the Federal District after hours. He finds himself eating all of the biscuits on his plate.
But then trouble is on the horizon. It seems 'Dug' has -dug- himself into a hole he can't get out. Cayde sighs and tries entering the Shani woman's mind, to 'convince' her to let it go this time...well, because this guy wasn't worth her time, anyway. She should just avoid playing with him.
- Navi has posed:
Navi stands slowly, one hand resting on the hilt of her lightsaber, as the Shani looms over the Dug. Sure, the guy hadn't used good sense in his betting, but threatening him wasn't likely to get her the money any faster if he legitimately didn't have it, which certainly seems to be the case.
She doesn't make any aggressive moves. Not yet.
"Be ready," she murmurs to Cayde. "If they try to harm him, we'll have to step in." Maybe they aren't deputies, but the colony seems to expect them to protect colonists. So that's what they'll do.
- Amarik (195) has posed:
But Cayde will find that he doesn't even need to convince the Shani woman to let it go. She'd already made up her mind that she isn't going to bother Weniscio about it. It had all just been ... scare tactics. She gives a toothy grin and removes her finger. "Okay," she says. "See you around, -Dug-." Then she turns to the rest of her crew and beckons for them to follow her away from the community center plaza. They spare the Dug derogatory looks, but do not make any attempt to harm him before following the Shani away from the scene.
The other aliens also look disgruntled and displeased with Wenisicio, but they too, just growl and slink off grumpily.
The Tholothian man then jumps down from the tree he'd been observing from. "Navi," He says softly. "May we speak? Privately?"
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
There is a measure of relief when the woman leaves and doesn't appear to have plans to actually cause any real harm. She wants him to be scared of them, that much is clear. Maybe because they plan to manipulate him at some point. Maybe he has something they want. He was about to start investigating that himself, when Amarik asks to speak to Navi... privately.
<Don't trust him> He urges her. Well, she'd been the one who said he was trouble.
- Navi has posed:
"You sure have a thing for perching in high places," Navi observes softly as Amarik drops in, literally. Looking to Cayde, she nods the faintest of nods at his advice. "Keep an eye on things here... just in case they come back, or someone else tries something violent. I'll be back soon." To reassure him, she adds telepathically, << I know you're worried. And I understand. But he would never hurt me. >>
"Lead on," she says to Amarik. "I'm sure you've already got someplace in mind."
- Amarik (195) has posed:
He nods, and goes to take her hand, if she lets him.
If their hands touch, she'll sense that he's relieved. He'd thought there was a chance that she might reject his offer, which might have ended up in some people she cared about being put in danger.
He starts heading for the docks, where several speedboats are tethered to wooden posts above sparkling aquamarine waters. Somewhere in the distance, the sound of roaring rapids can be heard.
He leads her to a worn but sturdy looking aquatic speeder that has a narrow, sleek front but a wide aft that sports both an upper and lower deck.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
However, Cayde appears rather distressed as Navi accepts the request and starts to leave. It's quite palpable to her in the Force, but she probably wouldn't even need it to tell that he doesn't like it at all, and doesn't believe her that Amarik wouldn't ever hurt her. Didn't he just tell her not to trust him? But here she is now trusting that he wouldn't harm her...
As soon as their backs are turned, he starts following them toward the docks, watching them head toward one of the boats. There is a sinking feeling at that. No way he'd be able to follow them without being seen, and he's certain it's intentional...
Suddenly, it occurs to him that maybe Navi is in league with him. Maybe, he has somehow managed to persuade her or manipulate her into joining him in whatever sinister thing he's planning.
- Navi has posed:
Navi takes his hand, letting him lead the way. She's a bit surprised when he leads her to the docks, however, and slightly more surprised when they reach his destination.
"Nice. I never knew you were into wavespeeders," she observes softly, genuinely impressed at the sight of the vessel he's led her to. She's been on a wavespeeder only twice in her life, and never for longer than half an hour. Impressed enough that she lets him keep her hand and assist her in boarding, if that's what he has in mind. "Are we going somewhere?"
- Amarik (195) has posed:
He squeezes her hand gently, and for the second time, actually smiles as he leads her onto the boat.
<Sailing> he says. <Tenoo has an impressive network of rivers>
He picks up the rope tethering it to the dock and with a deft flick of his wrist, frees the aquatic speeder. The jolt of the vehicle being pulled into the fast current of the river might startle Navi slightly, but she'll immediately notice there's a group of beautiful silver fish swimming below them in the crystal clear water.
In an instant, Amarik is sitting next to her, offering her a bundle of flowers that are her favorite color. His brows furrow slightly, and he rests a hand over her free one gently. <Look, I know that it's too much to ask you to trust me. But I want to be your friend. I don't know how that's going to work if you don't trust me, but I want to find a way>
Cayde may not be able to follow them to the docks, but he may notice that there's a narrow hiking trail that runs adjacent to the river that's mostly obscured from view by the dense brush. Perhaps if he found a speeder and stayed close to the bank, he could watch them from a distance.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Cayde looks for a speeder he can borrow, and takes it over to the riverbanks before firing up the engines. It's the best he can do for now. He then tries to enter Navi's mind, in the case they are having a conversation there...
- Navi has posed:
Navi almost falls into the offered seat on the wavespeeder as the current takes hold of the craft. She steadies herself with a little effort and settles into the seat, looking back almost by accident, only to spot a school of silver fish disappearing under the vessel. "Oh, wow..." she whispers.
And then she starts again as Amarik drops into the seat beside her, an impromptu bouquet of brilliantly blue local blooms in his hand. She accepts it with a little gasp of delight, taking a sniff to get an idea of their fragrance. Or lack thereof.
Drawing the bouquet to her breast, she sighs sadly. << I /want/ to trust you... you've helped me so much, and at so much risk to yourself. But what you and your crew are doing here... the things you've done... it makes it so much harder. I was literally raised to fight people like you and your crew. It's almost impossible to get around that. I want to believe there's good in you. I wish I could make you see that there's a better way than what you've committed to. >>
Cayde, of course, is privy to all of this, and to the Sephi's inner turmoil. He's also privy to the two's connection through the Force, as it's impossible to miss, and to Navi's uncertainty as to how and why it even exists. But he may be surprised that she is already aware of the 'something bad', whatever it is, that Amarik and his people were here to exploit, and her desire to ensure that it never happens.
- Amarik (195) has posed:
The flowers are incredibly fragrant, but fragile. A few petals fall off when she sniffs them.
<I know> he says with a sigh. <and I'm sorry. It's this, or certain death> He strokes her shoulder gently.
<Weniscio is trouble. I don't know fine details. But we have discovered that he owes many individuals a large amount of credits.> A pause. <And if you can, be careful about allowing your ... Jedi friend around the Cathar girl, Lotus. She's dangerous, and beautiful. I saw how he looked at her> He sighs. <He doesn't just not trust me, he dislikes me. Perhaps even hates me. He read my mind earlier, and is probably somewhere around here, either following us or trying to>
There's a pause, and then he asks, <Have you spoken with Xera?>
While Cayde is eavesdropping on their conversation, the Cathar girl will come up behind him, and if he doesn't move out of the way in time, she'll yank his padawan braid very hard!
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
Unfortunately, Cayde was too immersed in eavesdropping on the mental conversation going on between Amarik and Navi, and worrying that she's fallen under his spell, that he doesn't notice Lotus approaching.
In fact, when she pulls on his hair, it startles him so much that he suddenly whips around and draws his lightsaber, the energy crackling through the air. And if the young Cathar doesn't capitalize on her quick reflexes, she may find herself with a missing limb.
- Navi has posed:
<< I saw how /she/ looked at /him/, >> Navi observes. << I don't know if she's interested or if she's just toying with him, but I don't want him hurt. I'll tell him what you've said. He's a good friend, and very loyal, but he very much has a mind of his own. Possibly full of heroic fantasies and too much sugar. >> She pauses, collecting her thoughts. << But what makes Weniscio trouble, besides owing so many people so much money? Is there more to him besides a gambling addiction? >>
She hugs him gently, careful of the bouquet. << I don't want you to die. I've tried to talk to Xera Graf, but she doesn't want to talk to me. Cayde played a role in that, but he was hardly the whole reason for it. If I'd known I'd be trying to get close to her, I might've kept some of my opinions to myself. Mostly about just how bad of an idea this colony initiative is. Nothing about it holds up to any scrutiny.>>
- Amarik (195) has posed:
Thankfully, the Cathar girl is agile, and leaps to safety, though, his saber lops a strand of her hair off. She pouts. "You don't have to be like that," she says. She stands in front of him, a hip crooked out, hands resting on her own slim, exposed waist. "You don't like her hanging out with him," she observes. "Well, neither do I." She the steps forward, biting her lip, and whispers, "I can help you." And if he attempts to ascertain her intentions, he'll discover that she does in fact mean to help him sabotage Navi's relationship with Amarik among some ... other things about him that might make him blush.
<She's toying with him--> And then for some reason he seems to be overwhelmed with guilt and grief, and Navi will be able to sense it but not exactly know why. There is a faded memory there, but she won't be full privy to it. <I don't know yet. It's just not a paltry amount. And when that many credits are involved, nothing good can come of it.>
He hugs her back, stroking her back gently before releasing her. She'll be able to tell that he wants so badly to believe that she'll change Xera, but he's having a very hard time of it. <I don't know what to say, other than your best bet is to keep trying, as impossible as it may be> She'll find that the boat has now coasted to the river bank under a flowering tree full of navy blue flowers that fall softly like rain into the water below. It's breathtakingly beautiful.
Amarik gets off the boat and will lead Navi off of it if she lets him. Then he steps back. <I should go> he says. <Be well...>
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
[You startled me] Cayde signs simply, once he finally retracts the blade and puts the weapon away. It was obvious, but the statement was meant to point out that this had been her own fault.
Yes, okay. She does intend to help him, but why? The young Jedi frowns. There is something about her that is definitely off. Something that makes him uncomfortable. Besides that, he doesn't want to sabotage anything. It would only make matters worse.
He shakes his head and turns away, trying to find Navi again. But he's starting to feel nauseated all of a sudden...
- Navi has posed:
Navi lets him assist her off of the wavespeeder, overwhelmed by the beauty of the scenery and the grief coming off of Amarik. << I'll keep trying. Bad as she might be, I don't want her hurt any more than you. There's been enough blood shed already. It's got to stop. >>
She bows her head as he steps back toward the wavespeeder. << Try to keep Lotus more firmly in hand. I don't want her hurt any more than Cayde. You need to explain to her that toying with other people's emotions is sure to get her hurt or killed. Until we meet again... be safe. >>
- Amarik (195) has posed:
The Cathar girl just smirks and flicks his chin. "Think about it," she says, then slinks away into the bushes.
<I'll try> he says. He presses forehead against hers briefly before releasing Navi and disappearing into the brush silently, just like he always does.
- Cayde Alexis has posed:
She flicks his chin, and he suddenly gags and turns around, vomiting all of those Mossberry biscuits up into some bushes. It wasn't a reaction to her... was it?
