Profile

Cayde is a teenaged padawan with what can most aptly be described as a hero complex. Gifted in Force telepathy, he has a natural affinity for understanding and sympathizing with the plight of others. Though he holds the tenets of the Order in the highest regard, he is often impulsive when it comes to "helping" other people and finds himself in over his head while attempting to fix a situation he doesn't fully understand or that might simply be none of his business.

Background

Cayde was born to black market spice dealers aboard a pirate ship. As a result of the illicit substances his mother used during pregnancy, he was born without a voice. Thus, where most children learn to speak, Cayde was forced to find an alternate mode of communication and expression--telepathy. However, he had little control over it and often became confused between his own thoughts and others', sometimes leading to erratic behavior. However, it did allow him to gain some understanding of skills and concepts from those around him.

When he was 3 years old, he was rescued from a slave transport headed for the markets of Nar Shadaa and taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where he excelled in telepathy and also learned to apply the Force to other skills such as telekinesis and lightsaber combat. Ever since then, he has been training with the Order and hopes to become a Knight one day.
